ESTHER TUCKER
Graveside services for the late Esther D. Tucker who
passed away in Pendleton August 11 were held at the Centerville Cemetery
Friday, August 13 with Harry Carter of the Centerville Church of Christ
officiating.
She was born December 4, 1886 at Toddville, Ia., and
at age two came with her parents to Centerville where she resided until age
18. She moved to Portland and lived there for 50 years.
In Portland she had operated the Allstate Auto Court
and Tucker Coffee Co.. She had resided in Pendleton the past six years.
She is survived by a nephew, Judd Bunnell of Pendleton,
and a niece, Golda Tobin of Klickitat.
Burns Funeral Home of Pendleton was in charge of
arrangements.

"Centerville" by Lily Carter
Several Centerville folks attended the graveside services at the Centerville Cemetery Friday morning for Esther Tucker of Pendleton, Or. Esther Todd Tucker grew up in this community and left here 56 years ago, and oft returned for visits. She was an aunt of Golda Tobin.
