ELSIE ETTA OLDFELD

     Former resident of Lyle, Elsie Etta Oldfleld died Saturday in a nursing home in The Dalles. She was 70.
     Mrs. Oldfleld was born on Jan. 1, 1921 at Filer, Idaho to Harvey and Lovica Doolin, She was a longtime resident of Lyle prior to 1952.
     She is survived by six sons, Cliff Doolin of Woodland, Kenneth of Lyle, Calvin of Vancouver, Bill Doolin of Dallesport, Barney Oldfield of Corbett, Rick Oldfield of Lyle; daughter, Janet Marx of Lyle; 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
     Graveside services were held Tuesday at White Salmon Cemetery.
