EARL EDWARD VERLEY
Earl Edward Verley, proprietor at "The Logs", BZ Corners,
passed away Sunday at his home suddenly.
He was 38 years and 5 days at his death. Mr. Verley was
born February 23, 1900 in Payette, Idaho.
Services were held Thursday at 2 o'clock at Gardner's
Funeral home, the Rev. White of the Hood River, officiating. Burial was in
the White Salmon IOOF cemetery.

EARL EDWARD VERLEY
Earl Edward Verley, of B.Z. Corners, 38 years old, died
early Sunday morning from heart failure.
He was born in Payette, Idaho, on February 23, 1900,
and died Aug. 28. He is the son of George T. Verley of Yakima. He is survived
by his widow, Mrs. Juliet Verley, of B.Z. Corners, a son ten years old and
his father, George T. Verley, of Yakima.
Funeral services were held at the Gardner Funeral home
yesterday and the body was laid to rest in the I.O.O.F cemetery. Rev. White,
of Hood River, presided. Mrs. K.H. Putney sang for the services.
Mr. Verley was well known over all of western Klickitat County
and eastern Skamania county. He owned and operated "The Logs," a popular
dancing spot at BZ Corners 12 miles north of White Salmon. He was a world
war veteran.
