EMMETT FINK SERVICES HELD FEB 19TH
Emmett Fink was born June 21, 1896 in Rice Lake, Wisconsin,
and passed away at Providence Hospital in Portland on Thursday, Feb. 15,
1968.
Mr. Fink is survived by his wife, Mary A. Fink of Trout
Lake, Washington; 3 sons Orin and Dale both of White Salmon, Washington and
Lloyd Ray of Vancouver, Washington; and one daughter, Mrs. Howard (Olive)
Kight of White Salmon, Washington; and 8 grandchildren. Also surviving Mr.
Fink is two brothers, Ivan Fink of Underwood, Washington and Earl Fink of
Klamath Falls, Oregon, and two sisters Bertha West of Grants Pass, Oregon
and Alveina Frame of Sublimity, Ore.
Services were held on Monday, February 19, 1968 at Gardners
Funeral Home, with the Rev. Keith Curry of Trout Lake officiating. Interment
at the White Salmon Cemetery. Pall bearers were Frank Graves, Pete Graves,
Don Ryan, Stanley Locke, Leonard Conklin and Russell Kreps and Honorary Pall
bearers were Mike Knapp and Osmar Kuhnhausen.
Mr. Fink belonged to the David Woodruff Legion Post of
Trout Lake and The Veterans of World War I, and the Elks.
Mr. Fink drove mail stage 19 years for Wyers Stage Company,
from White Salmon to Trout Lake, Washington.
Mr. Fink will be missed by all.

Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 19, at 2 p.m.
for Emmett F. Fink, 71, longtime resident of Trout Lake. The Rev. Keith Curry
of the Trout Lake Presbyterian church officiated at the services held in
the Gardner Funeral Chapel in White Salmon. Burial was at the White Salmon
Goodwill Cemetery.

He was employed by the Wyers Stage Company for many years,
carrying the mail to the Trout Lake area.
Mr. Fink belonged to the David Woodruff Legion Post of
Trout Lake and the Veterans of WWI and the Elks.
Surviving are his wife, Mary A. Fink of Trout Lake; three
sons: Orin and Dale, both of White Salmon, and Lloyd Ray of Vancouver; One
daughter, Mrs. Howard (Olive) Kight of White Salmon. Also, two brothers and
two sisters: Ivan Fink of Underwood, Earl Fink of Klamath Falls, Ore., Bertha
West of Grants Pass, Ore., and Alvienna Frame of Sublimity, Ore.
Active casket bearers were Pete Graves, Stan Locke, Don
Ryan, Frank Graves, Leonard Conklin and Russell Kreps; honorary bearers were
Mike Knapp and Osmar Kuhnhausen.
