ELIZABETH F. LERMO
Elizabeth Faye Lermo of White Salmon died of emphysema
last Thursday at Gladstone Care Center. She was 78.
Mrs. Lermo was born in Portland Feb. 27, 1914, one of
triplets. She graduated from The Dalles High School where she grew up. She
was a homemaker most of her life.
In 1935 Mrs. Lermo married Alvin H. in Hood River. She
was a master bridge player, champion at golf at the Hood River Country Club
and master at sewing, arts and crafts.
She is survived by her husband, Alvin of White Salmon;
daughters, Betty Ann Caldwell of Gladstone, Sue A. Weir of Portland; sister
and surviving triplet, Dorothea Koch of White Salmon; five grandchildren
and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a triplet Frances
Macklin and a sister, Helen Marie.
Private family services were held, followed by private
interment at Klickitat County Cemetery in White Salmon.
Remembrances may be made to the American Heart Association
in her name.
