MRS. ETHELINE McNEEL
Mrs. Etheline McNeel, 79, of 507 Speyers Road, Selah,
died Wednesday in St. Elizabeth's Hospital.
Mrs. McNeel was born and reared in New Haven, Conn. She
came west in 1924 when she and Homer McNeel were married in Davenport, and
came to Selah in 1953. Mr. McNeel died in 1955.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lloyd (Ruth) Caryl
of Omak; a son, Robert of Trout Lake; three sisters, Mrs. Louis Post of St.
Petersburg, Fla., Mrs. Mary Haviland of Endicott, N.Y., and Mrs. Ada Palmer
of Cheshier, Conn.; a brother, Fred Porter of Hartford, Conn.; 16 grandchildren
and one great grandchild.

ETHELINE MCNEEL RITES HELD OCT. 27 IN TROUT LAKE
Mrs. Etheline Grace McNeel, born July 8, 1893, in New
Haven, Conn., passed away October 25, 1972 in St. Elizabeth Hospital in Yakima,
Wash. Mrs. McNeel came to the west in 1924. She and her late husband, Homer
D. McNeel, were married in Davenport, Wash., on May 28, 1924. They lived
in Trout Lake Valley for 29 years. They moved to Selah, Wa., in 1953 where
Mr. McNeel preceded her in death in 1955.
Survivors include three sisters and one brother living
in the east, one daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Caryl, Omak, Wash., one son, Robert
C. McNeel, Trout Lake, Wa., sixteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services were held on October 27, 1972 at Trout
Lake cemetery. Rev. William Collier officiating.
