EDWARD MORRIS
Edward G. Morris, 90, Dallesport, died on May 21, 2006,
at his home. He was born May 5, 1916, in Sara, to George and Maud Davy
Morris.
Mr. Morris was in the Army Air Force from 1941 to 1945.
He served in England, Africa and Italy. He married Denise Mattson on Nov.
30, 1946, in Goldendale. He farmed at Sundale with Ed Mattson and R.J.
Wheelhouse.
Preceding him in death were his parents, brothers Bruce
and Marvin, and sisters Grace Smith, Bertha Kelley, Jackie Humphrey, Hazel
Warner and Mildred Riley.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Denise Morris,
Dallesport; brother George Morris, White Salmon; children Garry Morris, Keith
Morris, Jacquelynn Morris, Elizabeth Klobas, David Morris, William Morris,
Terry Morris, and Laura Sperry; 18 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren,
and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2006,
at 11 a.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Goldendale. Burial will be at
the Centerville Cemetery.
