FUNERAL RITES FOR MRS. CROCKER HELD
Funeral services were held at Centerville Saturday afternoon
for Mrs. Matt Crocker, 58, pioneer resident of Klickitat county who died
at her home Dec. 1.
A resident of Centerville all her life, Mrs. Crocker
was the daughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. John Hagen, first minister of
the Finnish Apostolic Church in the community.
She was married to Matt Crocker in 1920 and is survived
by her husband; one step-son, Wilbert Crocker; and several cousins. Funeral
services were conducted by Wilhelm Basi from the Finnish church at Centerville.
Interment was in the Centerville Grange Cemetery.

OBITUARY
Eva Hagen Crocker was born in Centerville, Wash., on
August 16, 1880 and died at her home near Centerville, December 1, 1938 at
the age of 58 years, two months and 15 days. She was the daughter of the
late Mr. and Mrs. John Hagen who were pioneers in the Centerville country
where they settled on a homestead. Mr. Hagen was the first minister of the
Finnish Apostolic church at Centerville.
Mrs. Crocker attended school in Centerville and was married
to Matt Crocker at Centerville on October 3, 1920.
She lived all her life in Centerville and leaves her
husband and one step-son, Wilbert Crocker, and several cousins and a host
of other relatives and friends.

CENTERVILLE MOURNS DEATH OF MRS. CROCKER
Arthur Crocker, of Deep River, Wash., attended the funeral
of his aunt, Mrs. Matt Crocker.
Mrs. Matt Crocker died Dec. 1 and was buried Saturday.
Rev. Wilhelm Basi, of Clatskanie Oregon, officiated.
