EVERETT H. REASON
Everett Hugh Reason died Feb. 21 at the home of his daughter,
Mrs. Sherry Murphy, Yakima. The Goldendale resident was 75.
He was born in Willow City, N.D. and moved to Omak in
1904. He was a logger in Carnation, Aberdeen and Wenatchee before moving
to Goldendale in 1941 where he was a foreman in the Boise-Cascade mill.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and a
former member of the Goldendale Eagles Lodge.
Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Sherry Murphy, Yakima;
Pam Reason, Pullman and Mrs. Sandra Gates, Selah; sons Ron Sherman, Aberdeen
and Pat Reason, Spokane; sister Mrs. Lillian Slater, Victoria, B.C., several
nieces and nephews and eight grandchildren.
His wife Kay Reason died January 17.
Funeral Mass was held Feb. 24 at Holy Trinity Church
with Father John Marasciulo as celebrant. Shaw and Sons were in charge of
arrangements.

FUNERALS
REASON -- Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Everett Hugh Reason, 75, of 321 W. Sentinel St., Goldendale, who died Feb. 21 in Yakima, will be celebrated Friday, Feb. 24 at 11:00 a.m. in the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Goldendale. Father John Marasciulo will be celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery in Goldendale. Pallbearers will be Patrick Reason, George Bagwell, John Murphy, Ronald Sherman, George Willis, and Joe Dressel. Honorary bearers will be Paul Ray, Del Hamlick and Thomas Ormsby. Recitation of the Rosary will be Thursday, Feb. 23 at 7:30 p.m. in Holy Trinity Catholic Church and Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in SHAW & SONS CHAPEL. Mr. Reason is survived by three daughters, Mrs. John H. (Sherry) Murphy of Yakima, Miss Pam Reason of Pullman, and Mrs. Sandra Gates of Selah; two sons, Ron Sherman of Aberdeen, and Pat Reason of Spokane; one sister, Mrs. Lillian Slater of Victoria, B.C., and several nieces and nephews including Mrs. Margaret Wingfield of Seattle; eight grandchildren. Mr. Reason was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Kathryn Marie (Kay) Reason on January 17, 1978.
