MARY ELNORA BOLLE

     Funeral services for Mary Elnora Bolle, who died January 1 at Vancouver, were held Saturday, January 4 at the Gardner Funeral home in White Salmon. Burial was in the Underwood cemetery.
     Mrs. Bolle was born in White Salmon April 25, 1889 and was a resident of the Underwood community until her marriage in 1907. Her home prior to her death was in Tillamook, Ore.
     Surviving her are her husband, Henry; 2 children, Richard Bolle of Cooks, and Ella Hooker of Stevenson; Frank Larsen, Olaf Larsen, Aaren Larsen and Lewis Larson; and four grandchildren.

MRS. H. BOLLE BURIED SUNDAY AT UNDERWOOD

     Mrs. Henry Bolle, one of the county's pioneer residents, died in January 1st at St. Joseph's hospital in Vancouver. She had been in declining health for some time but it was not known until the last few days that her condition was critical.
     Elsie Elnora Larsen spent her early days at the family home near Underwood, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.E. Larsen. In the year in 1907 she was married to Henry Bolle, and for a good many years they lived at Cooks were Mr. Bolle was in charge of the Government Fish Hatchery. In recent years they have been at Tillamook, where he is superintendent of the Trask River Hatchery.
     Surviving beside the husband, are the two children, Ella Hooker (Mrs. Clarence) of Stevenson, and Richard H. Bolle, of Cooks; five brothers, Olaf Larsen, of Underwood, Frank Larsen of Toppenish, Aaron Larsen of Underwood, Louis Larson of Underwood and Amos Larsen of Bingen; four grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
     Mrs. Bolle leaves also a wide circle of friends shocked and grieved at her passing. Warm-hearted and generous, she will long be remembered by those who knew her.
     Funeral services were held at the Gardner Funeral Home at White Salmon, with burial at Underwood Cemetery, January 4th, the Rev. Jefferson of White Salmon officiating.
