EFFIE CARR
Effie L. Carr, a resident of the White Salmon area for
the last 26 years, died Monday in Hood River at the age of 72.
Mrs. Carr was born March 27, 1910 to Mr. and Mrs. Francis
Huse.
She is survived by her husband, George; her children,
Dean Carr, White Salmon, Carol Beeks, Trout Lake, and Richard Carr, Petersburg,
Alaska; sisters, Bernice Lawson, Sacremento, Calif., and Virginia Huse, Seattle;
10 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Carr will be held today (Thursday)
at 11 a.m. at Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon, with Dr. Ted Holland
officiating. Interment will be in the Trout Lake cemetery.
