ELIZABETH DUNCAN
Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 1 at Stoller
Memorial chapel for Elizabeth Duncan, 77, a 32-year resident of this area.
She died at St. Joseph's hospital December 28.
The Rev. John Phipps officiated and interment was at
Trout Lake cemetery in the family plot beside her late husband, Edgar C.
Duncan, former Camas judge; and two sons.
Born in Pleasant Hill, O., March 6, 1874, she was a member
of the local Presbyterian church, Lackamas chapter, O.E.S., Gold Star mothers,
American Legion auxiliary, and the D.U.V.
Survivors include two sons, Clifford A. and E. Carlton
Duncan, Camas; daughters, Mrs. Mary Stewart, Trout Lake; Mrs. Martha Mapes,
Burns, Ore.; Mrs. Helen Craig, Washougal; Mrs. Vesta Carpenter, Fall Creek,
Ore.; 14 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
