E.L. HENDERSON SERVICES TO BE IN AUGUST 16TH

     Ernest Lee Henderson was horn April 18th, 1918 at Enterprise, Oregon, the son of Arla and Thurman Henderson. He passed away at his home in Husum, Washington on August 13th at the age of 55 years. He was a veteran of World War II and lived in this community most of his life.
     At Stevenson, Washington on November 30th, 1942 he was united in marriage to Annette May Van Vleete. Until his retirement several years ago, Mr. Henderson had worked in the logging industry.
     Surviving besides his wife, Annette, is a daughter, Janet Lorraine Peters of Underwood, Washington; two sons, David Wayne Henderson of Carson, Washington and Michael Ray Henderson of Husum. Two sisters, Lorieta Newton and Alma Seheuner both of White Salmon; two brothers, Robert of White Salmon and Archie Henderson of LaGrande, Ore.
     Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 16th at 11 a.m. in the Gardner's Funeral Home at White Salmon. Rev. Homer Coulson of Goldendale will officiate. Interment will be in the White Salmon cemetery.
