EARL H. HOLLETT
Memorial services for Earl Harrison Hollett were held
April 8. Rev. P. Glen Garner of the First Baptist Church of Goldendale
officiated. Concluding services were at Spring Creek Cemetery.
Mr. Hollett was born December 3, 1889 at Spring Creek,
the youngest son in the family of three brothers and three sisters born to
Mary and A.P. Hollett, early pioneer sellers of the valley.
His entire life was lived in this area in sight of the
green timbered hills and snow-capped Simcoes he loved. He was a good citizen
and neighbor.
Earl passed away April 4 after an illness of several
months, at his home on Crofton Prairie, where he resided with his sister,
Angie Berrian.
He is survived by one other sister, Mrs. Martha Clarence
Bingen, and several nieces and nephews.
