"Appleton Community Center News"

Mrs. Hopper, a well-liked resident of this community, died at the home of her son in Vancouver, last Thursday. She had been gone here but one week when the end came. The remains were returned to Lyle and laid at rest in the cemetery there. Services were held in the church at Lyle Sunday noon. Many neighbors and friends will miss this dear old lady who has resided here for many years.
