ESTHER L. KENT
Esther L. Kent of Bingen died Sept. 10 in White Salmon.
She was 63.
Mrs. Kent was born July 6, 1930 in Ellensburg to Eva
M. (Moorfield) and Ernest A. Woods. She grew up in White Swan and was a majorette
in high school. She went to nurses training after her children were born.
In 1974, she moved to White Salmon and worked at Skyline Hospital and Diamond
Fruit Growers for many years.
She was a member of the Eagles Lodge. She enjoyed sewing,
fishing, camping, baking and building miniature furniture. It was at her
request that her doll houses be donated to a museum.
She is survived by her companion, John Enoch of Bingen;
children, Bruce Justin of Hood River, Marian Espinoza of the White Swan,
Robin Sandino of Juliaette, Idaho, Jeff Justin of Valdez, Alaska and Jody
Rains of Lyle; step-children, Bev Libby of Eugene, Kenny Holbrook of Yakima,
Stephanie Enoch of Seattle, Sandy and Tracy Enock, both of Cottage Grove,
Ore.; brother, Jerry Woods of Seattle; sisters, Juanita Bellamy of Ellensburg,
Yvonne Parker Chelan; 24 grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
Graveside services were Friday at White Salmon Cemetery.
Contributions may be given to Skyline Foundation in care
of Skyline Hospital.
