ELIZABETH McKINLEY
Memorial services for Elizabeth McKinley of Milwaukie will
be Saturday at 11:00 am in the Reed College faculty lounge.
Miss McKinley died Thursday in a Milwaukie hospital at
age 76. A member of the Reed College Class of 1923, she was a nationally
known medical social worker. She retired as director of social services at
the University of Chicago Clinics in 1965.
Miss McKinley also served as director of social services
at Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis, MO., and held positions
with the American Red Cross and the University of Oregon Medical School.
She was a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
Survivors include her sister, Hattie Allen of Vancouver,
Wa., and several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests remembrances be contributions to
the Charles McKinley Research Fund, Reed College.
