ELIZA L. THOMPSON
Eliza Louella Thompson, who was born June 9, 1880 at
Dilley, Oregon, died January 1, 1966 at Skyline Hospital. She had been at
the hospital for three months.
Mrs. Thompson was a resident of White Salmon for the
past twenty-five years and prior to that she had lived at Lyle since 1909.
She was married to William H. Thompson in Forest Grove,
Oregon on July 9, 1897. Her husband died in 1947.
She is survived by two daughters; Erma Taylor of Fort
Lewis, Wash., and Noma Miller of White Salmon; fifteen grandchildren; and
sixteen great grandchildren. One son, Arthur, preceded her in death on Sept.
27, 1965.
Services were held January 5, at Gardner's Chapel in
White Salmon at 2 o'clock. Interment was at the White Salmon Cemetery with
Rev. Alfred J. Waln officiating.
