EDNA WOOSLEY

     Services will be held Saturday, May 21, at 10:30 a.m., at Brush Prairie Baptist Church, 11814 NE 117th Ave., Vancouver, Wash., for Edna L. Woosley, 78, of Vancouver, who died May 18 at a Vancouver hospital. She had resided in Vancouver during the past 15 years.
     She was born Aug. 7, 1915, at Glenwood, Wash., and she graduated from Columbia Union High School in 1933. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a homemaker, and also a fruit packer at Duckwall's packing house in Hood River county. She also worked at Skyline Hospital in White Salmon.
     Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Verley "Wig" Woosley; two sons, Roger Woosley of Gearhart and Terry Woosley of Vancouver, Wash.; a brother, Harold Lewis of Hood River; sisters Virginia O'Grady of Woodburn and Lorene Ladiges of Glenwood, Wash. and four grandchildren.
     Burial will follow funeral services at the Mt. Adams Cemetery in Glenwood, Wash. Memorial Gardens Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
     The family says memorials in her name can be made to the Brush Prairie Baptist Church.

     A funeral for Edna L. Woosley, a 15-year Vancouver resident, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Brush Prairie Baptist Church, with burial to follow 3:30 p.m. in Mount Adams Cemetery in Glenwood, Wash.
     Mrs. Woosley died in a Vancouver hospital on Wednesday, May 19, 1994. She was 78.
     She was born Aug. 7, 1915, in Glenwood. She worked as a fruit packer for Duckwalls Packing House and for Skyline Hospital in White Salmon, Wash. She graduated from Columbia Union High School in 1933 and enjoyed crocheting and gardening. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Verley "Wig," at home; two sons, Roger of Gearhart, Ore., and Terry of Vancouver; a brother, Harold Lewis of Hood River, Ore.; two sisters, Virginia O'Grady of Woodburn, Ore. and Lorene Ladiges of Glenwood; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
     Memorial contributions may be sent to Brush Prairie Baptist church, 11814 N.E. 117th Ave., Vancouver, 98682.              Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

     Edna L. Woosley of Vancouver resident, formerly of Glenwood, died May 18, 1994; she was 78.
     She was born Aug. 7, 1915 in Glenwood. She grew up in Glenwood and graduated from Columbia Union High School in 1933.
     Mrs. Woosley married her husband of 57 years, Verley "Wig" Woosley in 1936. She worked for several years for Duckwalls Packing House as a fruit packer and worked for a number of years at Skyline Hospital.
     She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and spending time with her grand-children.
     She is survived by her husband Verley Woosley of Vancouver, her sons Roger of Gearhart and Terry of Vancouver; her brother, Harold Lewis of Hood River; sisters Virginia O'Grady of Woodburn and Lorene Ladiges of Glenwood; she had seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
     Funeral services were held Saturday, May 21 at the Brush Prairie Baptist Church in Vancouver.
     The Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel was in charge of all the arrangements.
