EDNA M. AYCOCK
Edna Maude Aycock, 68, a Baker and Haines area resident
for 40 years, died Thursday, Dec. 9, 1982, in Portland.
Her funeral was at 9 a.m. today at the Vancouver Funeral
Chapel. The Rev. Gerald Marvel officiated. A graveside service was conducted
at noon today at the Lyle Cemetery in Lyle, Wash.
Mrs. Aycock was born Aug. 19, 1914, in Glenwood. Wash.
She and her husband, William H. Aycock, owned and operated the store in Sumpter
for a time. She was a member of St. Stephens Episcopal Church.
Survivors include her husband, William of Vancouver,
Wash.; two daughters, Jacquelyn Smith of Haines and Patsy Ann Thompson of
Vancouver. Wash.; a brother, George Van Biber of Vancouver, Wash.; her mother,
Neva Dean Bowles of Vancouver, Wash: and four grandchildren.
The Vancouver Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
