ELSIE BOYER

Elsie M. Boyer, a lifetime resident of the area, died Dec. 29 in Salem, Ore., at the age of 87.
Mrs. Boyer was born Sept. 20, 1901, in Goldendale, to Mary Ann (Warman) and John X. Collins. She married Edgar Boyer in 1928. She was a homemaker. She and her husband moved to Salem in March 1988 to be near her daughter, Laura. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church.
Mrs. Boyer is survived by her husband, Edgar, Salem; children, Laura Smith, Salem, Jim Boyer, Stanwood, Wash., and Marvin Boyer, Pennsylvania.
Services for Mrs. Boyer were held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Gardner Funeral Home, with Rev. Bob Long officiating. Interment was at the Chris Zada Cemetery, Underwood.
