EVA THOMPSON

     Eva Marie Thompson, a resident of the Lyle area since 1948, died April 28 in the Dalles at age 85.
     She was born Oct. 13, 1895, in Kentucky to Mr. and Mrs. James W. Dupass and worked as a homemaker all her life.      She is survived by step-children, Rollin and Norma Rideout, Lyle, and Tommy and Virginia Thompson, Colorado Springs, Colo.; special friends, Willis and Dotty Roberts, and step-grandchildren, Les and Rowena Thomas, Lee and Judy Thomas, Larry and Marilyn Thomas, Larry and Claudia D'Angelo, Bryan and Sharon Thomas, Floyd and Cyndee Grubbs, Bob and Betty Jolly, Roger and Mona Miller and Donn and Julie Millican.
     Rev. Steve Schroeder conducted a graveside service for Mrs. Thompson Friday afternoon. Burial was in the Balch Cemetery at Lyle.
