ENETH HUNSAKER
Eneth A. Hunsaker, a longtime White Salmon area resident,
died Sunday in Hood River, at the age of 79.
Mrs. Hunsaker was born June 19, 1909, in Portland, to
Eneth (Bradley) and William Miller. She was raised in Husum, attending school
at Pleasant View and graduating from Columbia Union High School in 1927.
She married Dan W. Hunsaker in Husum Sept. 1, 1929. She was a 50-plus year
member of Eastern Star and was past worthy matron. She was also a 50-year
member of Mt. View Grange 98, a charter member of TOPS and a member of the
Good Sam Club. She worked on the election board for many years, liked to
sew, knit and do ceramics, and travel with her husband.
She is survived by her husband, Dan M., White Salmon;
children, Frank and Richard, both of White Salmon, Dan, East Wenatchee, and
Ruth Brown, Bothell; 15 grand-children, 11 great grandchildren and numerous
nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Friday at 11 a.m., with
Rev. Arthur Dickie officiating. Interment was in the White Salmon Cemetery.
