E.O. THOMAS
Mr. E.O. Thomas the deceased, was born in Mount Aire,
Ringo County, Iowa, March 27th, 1891. Passed away Dec. 8th, 1933.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, three children,
George, Mary Alice and Virginia Marian. His mother Alice E. Thomas. Three
brothers, Dewey, of White Salmon; A.R. Thomas of Yamhill, Oregon, and R.O.
Thomas, Elkton, Oregon. Sister, Mrs. Stella McFarland, of Kelso, Wash.; Mrs.
Veda Armstrong and Mrs. A.C. Carlson, of Forest Grove, Oregon; Mrs. Walter
Chasthdollar, and Mrs. Ed Gearin, of Seattle, Wn., and Mrs. Z.A. Baker, of
San Diego, California.
All were present at the funeral.
Mr. Thomas was married to Donnie R. Rainry, on the 9th
day of June, 1915.
Funeral services were conducted from the Congregational
church, Rev. Alfred E. Derby officiated.
Mr. Harry Card sang "Beautiful Isle of Some Where", the
mixed quartet, Mr. Authur and Clarence Derby, Mrs. Ed Bartholomew and Mrs.
H. Meresse sang "Face to Face."
Out of loving sympathy for the bereaved family and respect
of the sad passing of one of White Salmon's leading citizens, the church
was filled to capacity and not enough room for the many who came to share
in this sad event.
