RESIDENT OF GLENWOOD FOR OVER 40 YEARS DIED ON APR. 17
Elsie Restorff, age 91, late of Washougal, Wash., died
April 17, 1939 following a short illness.
She was born in Germany, Feb. 19, 1848 and came to this
country when a young woman. She was a resident of Glenwood, Washington, for
over 40 years. For the past 10 years she has made her home with her son,
Henry C. Restorff, of Washougal, Wash., who survives her. She is also survived
by another son, Chris C. Restorff, of Washougal; three grandchildren, Chris
E. Restorff, Jr., of Washougal; Alice Beauchamp and Pearl Jones, of Camas;and
four great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in the church at Glenwood,
Wash., Thursday, April 20, at 2 p.m. Interment was in the Mt. Adams Cemetery
near Glenwood, beside her husband who died in 1904. Fred E. Stoller, Funeral
director of Camas, was in charge of arrangements.

Grandma Restorff, mother of Chris and Henry Restorff, of Washougal, was buried in the Mt. Adams cemetery Thursday. Mrs. Restorff was an old pioneer of this valley coming here in the year 1884. She resided here until ten years ago when she went to live with her son Henry and family at Washougal. Mrs. Restorff was ninety-one years of age.

ELSIE RESTORFF DIES AT AGE 91
WASHOUGAL -- Funeral services were held today for Elsie
Restorff, age 91, who died Monday after a short illness. The services were
held in the Glenwood church, with interment in the Mt. Adams cemetery near
Glenwood beside the body of her husband who died in 1914. Stoller's Funeral
chapel had charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Restorff had lived with a son Henry C. Restorff
in Washougal for the past 10 years. Born in Germany Feb. 19, 1848, she came
to America as a young woman and lived in Glenwood for more than 40 years.
She is also survived by another son Chris of Washougal, three grandchildren,
Chris J. of Washougal, Alice Beauchamp and Pearl Jones of Camas, and four
great grandchildren.
