EDD SMITH WARREN

     Edd Smith Warren was born at Horseshoe Bend, Klickitat county, Washington, June 18th, 1883, and passed at his home, on Sunday morning, September 29th, 1935, at the age of 52 years, 3 months and 13 days. He was united in marriage to Angie Hollett on the 13th day of March, 1904, the couple making their home in Klickitat county since that time. To this union four children were born.
     The deceased leaves to mourn his passing his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Clifton Hughes, of Lyle, of Washington, and Mrs. Richard Jacroux, Goldendale; two sons, Merle and Cecil, of Crofton Prairie; three sisters, Mrs. Tishia Nehls, Chicago Ill., Mrs. Emma Thompson, Vancouver, Wash., and Annie Thompson, Battleground, Wash.; two brothers, Fred Warren, Stevenson, Wash., and Dell Warren, Medical Lake, Wash.; and two granddaughters, Helen Hughes and Shirley Jacroux.
     Funeral services were held at 2:00 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 2nd, from the Chapman Chapel, with Rev. C.S. Eshelman officiating. Burial was in the Spring Creek Cemetery. The services were in charge of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Goldendale Aerie No. 2115. Pallbearers were: Tony Yankee, Eugene and Loyd Vanhoy, Henry Klatt, Pete Roethler and a Joe Allyn.

DEATH STALKS EDD S. WARREN
Prominent Crofton Prairie Rancher Found Dead in Barn at Farm Sunday

     Ed S. Warren, prominent rancher located in the Crofton Prairie districts, met an untimely death Sunday morning, according to reports on file with Coroner and prosecutor C.W. Ramsey.
     The Warren family that arisen Sunday morning and was assisting Mr. Warren with the chores. Leaving him at the barn where he was caring for the stock, the ladies returned to the ranch home and prepared breakfast.
     Feeling that enough time had elapsed for completion of the chores, a search was made for them. He was found, presumably dead, in the barn. A call was placed for the coroner and the sheriff who drove to the scene.
     It was known for some time that Mr. Warren's health had been failing but the seriousness was not realize until Saturday when he conferred with his physician in Goldendale.
     Funeral services were conducted from the Chapman Chapel Home yesterday afternoon at 2:30 with a host of friends in attendance at the last rites.
