DEATH SUMMONS EDWARD T. CAHILL
Edward Thomas Cahill, 80, a resident of Klickitat for
over 50 years, was laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery after funeral Mass
at the Holy Trinity Church Saturday morning, Fr. Paul Stecher officiating.
Rosary was recited for Mr. Cahill at the church Friday
at 7:30 p.m. He passed away at his Goldendale home last Thursday morning.
Mr. Cahill, who came to this county with his parents
in 1883, was born at Virginia City, Nev. September 21, 1877. He was married
to Anna Mary Kuhn at Sixprong on November 11, 1902.
Pallbearers at the funeral were Joe Hoctor, William E.
Hoctor, Fred Hoctor, John Hoctor, Andrew Swan, and Jack Dressel Sr.
Survivors include the widow, Anna, Goldendale; four sons,
Robert of Goldendale, Martin of Wishram, Jim of Wenatchee, and John, Rice,
Wash.; three daughters, Clara Cahill, Spokane; Catherine Stewart, Bremerton;
and Ethel Kayser, Goldendale.
