ELMER W. CANTWELL
Elmer W. Cantwell of Bingen died last Wednesday at home.
He was 76.
Mr. Cantwell was born Oct. 6, 1915 in Chico, Calif. to
Mabel (Lyons) and Robert Cantwell. He grew up in Chico before moving to the
area. He was a retired logger for a SDS Lumber Co. He loved to fish.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn of Bingen; sons, John
of Stevenson and Albert of Carson; daughters, Vicki Dillingham and Kathy
Griffin, both of Carson, Pat Fechtner and Donna Andersen, both of Port Angeles,
and Mandy Tresch of White Salmon; sisters, Alma Killingsworth of Weed, Calif.,
Mabel McKay of Redding, Calif.; brother, Albert of Cottonwood, Calif.; 13
grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Private graveside services were held at White Salmon
Cemetery followed by cremation.
