F.S. ARMSTRONG

     Francis (Frank) S. Armstrong was born March 4, 1907 to Oliver and Emma Armstrong at Lind, Washington. He passed away at the Memorial Hospital in Hood River, Oregon July 25th at the age of 65 years.
     He was married to Wilma Mae Creighton October 14, 1941 at Zillah, Wa. Their residence has been at Cook, Washington for many years.
     He worked as an auto mechanic before his retirement. He was a member of the Automotive Machinist Local in Seattle, Washington.
     Surviving him is his wife, Wilma Mae Armstrong of Cook, Washington; two step-sons; George Wisman and Clifford Wisman both of Seattle; a step daughter: Betty Evans of Seattle; a brother; Albert Armstrong of Texas; a half-brother; Truman Lamb of Viet Nam; nine grandchildren. Four sisters; Margaret Elza of Billings, montana; Louise Emerson of Spokane, Washington; Dorothy Fissman of Seattle, Washington; "Toots" Munson of Spokane.
     Funeral services were held Monday, July 31, 1972 at Gardner's Funeral Home in white Salmon, Washington at 2 p.m. Interment was in the White Salmon Cemetery. Dr. Eugene Haynes of the Bethel Congregational Church of White Salmon officiated at the services.
