"Underwood News"

     The holiday season was greatly saddened and Underwood by the untimely death of one of its prominent residents, Frank Swinge. Mr. Swinge contracted pneumonia Christmas Day and passed away Saturday morning, December 29, just three months and two days after his thirtieth birthday. Services were held at the Underwood cemetery, Monday afternoon, Rev. H.V. Rominger officiating. His loss is mourned by a widow and three small children, a brother, John Swinge, who was called from California, and a large number of friends who sympathy goes out to the stricken family.
