MONTAGUE

     Mr. Frank (Monty) B. Montague, 93, of Goldendale died Monday, April 22, in Goldendale. He was born on August 9, 1897 in Rochester, Minn. to James and Catherine Montague. The family, later, moved to western Idaho where he attended schools.
     Mr. Montague later moved to Portland where he worked as a logger and worked in the ship yards during World War II.
     He moved to Goldendale in the 1950s where he was employed by Layman Lumber. He had been a resident of Mt. Adams Care Center for the past several years.
     He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
     Survivors include one sister-in-law, Helena Montague of Portland; seven nephews and two nieces.
     Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, April 26 at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father Thomas V. Lane officiating. Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery under the care of Knosher-Erdman Funeral Home.
