WARDWELL SERVICES FRIDAY AT 10 A.M.
Francis Bertram Wardwell, 58, died
Monday, October 7 at Trout Lake. He had been a mill worker and had lived in
White Salmon about eight years. He was born March 11, 1910 at Portage, Wis.
Recitation of the Rosary will be Thursday, October 10, at 8 p.m. at St. Joseph's
Catholic Church in White Salmon, and Requiem Mass Friday at 10 a.m. in the
church. Father William Shaw will officiate. Burial will be in Goodwill Cemetery
at White Salmon.
Casket bearers will be Dennis Wardwell, James Wardwell,
Douglas Wilson, Jerry Smith, Chesley Smothers and Bjarne Brekke.
Survivors include his widow, Dagny Wardwell and their
children Susan Wilson of Everett, Wa., Phyllis Walker of Mountlake Terrace, Wa.,
Margaret Smith of White Salmon, Mary Wardwell of Everett, Wa., Dennis Wardwell
of Vancouver and James Wardwell of Everett; and by a previous marriage, a son,
Donevan Joseph Wardwell in Alabama and a daughter, Mary Katherine Wardwell; and
two sisters.

Francis Bertram Wardwell, a resident of White Salmon for about 8 years, passed
away October 7, at Trout Lake, Washington.
Francis Wardwell was born March 11, 1910, in Portage,
Wisconsin. He worked for many years in lumber mills.
Among the Mr. Wardwells survivors are: his wife Dagny,
of White Salmon, 5 daughters, Susan Wilson, Everett, Washington; Phyllis Walker,
Mont Lake Terrace, Washington; Margaret Smith, White Salmon, Washington; Mary
Wardwell, Everett, Washington; and Mary Katherine Wardwell, address unknown. 3
sons: Dennis Wardwell, Vancouver; James Wardwell, Everett and Donivan Joseph
Wardwell, Alabama. Two sisters, one in California and one in Pennsylvania.
Recitation of the Rosary will be held for Francis
Bertram Wardwell Thursday, October 10 at 8:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic
Church in White Salmon and Requiem Mass will be Friday, October 11 at 10:00 a.m.
with Father William Shaw officiating.
Interment will be in the Goodwill Cemetery at White
Salmon.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Dennis and James
Wardwell; Douglas Wilson, Jerry Smith, Chesley Smothers and Bjarne Brekke.
