FLEDA CLARA HAMM
Funeral services for Fleda Clara Hamm, resident of Lyle,
Washington will be held Saturday, October 5, 2 p.m. at Gardner's Chapel in
White Salmon. The Rev. Mr. Roger Clevenger will officiate.
Mrs. Hamm was born at Pendleton, Oregon on June 15th,
1886, the daughter of Lillian and Joe Parkes. On December 25th, 1909 at Pendleton
she was united in marriage to Ralph M. Hamm, who preceded her in death on
December 2nd, 1961.
Surviving is a son, Marshall Hamm, of Lyle, Washington;
a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Tanner of San Jose, Calif. Four grandchildren; two
sisters: Phyllis Chambers of Seattle, Washington and Effie Ostrin of Salem,
Oregon.
Mrs. Hamm passed away October 1st at Hood River, Oregon.
Interment will be at the Lyle Cemetery.

RITES FOR MRS. HAMM SATURDAY
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct.
5 at Gardners Chapel in White Salmon for Mrs. Fleda Clara Hamm, 77, resident
of Lyle since 1933.
The Rev. Roger Clevenger of Bethel Congregational Church,
White Salmon, will officiate. Burial will be in Balch cemetery near Lyle.
Mrs. Hamm (nee Parkes) was born June 15, 1886 at Pendleton,
Oregon and was married on Dec. 25, 1909 at Pendleton to Ralph M. Hamm. Mr.
Hamm died Dec. 2, 1962.
She is survived by her son Marshall Hamm of Lyle; a daughter,
Mrs. Shirley Tanner of San Jose, Calif.; four grandchildren; and two sisters,
Phyllis Chambers of Seattle and Effie Ostrin of Salem, Oregon.
