FLOYD BROWN

     Former Trout Lake & White Salmon resident Floyd E. Brown of The Dalles died in The Dalles Sep. 13. Mr. Brown was 89.
     He was born Sept. 13, 1901, in Bickleton to Mary E. (Moore) and Robert E. Lee Brown. Mr. Brown moved to Trout Lake from Bickelton as an infant and lived there to young adulthood. He married Enida Kirkpatrick in Idaho April 23, 1926.
     Mr. Brown worked for Hunsaker Chevrolet in White Salmon for many years. He owned his own service station for several years until he retired in 1963. He moved to The Dalles in 1986 to live near his daughter.
     He was a long-time member of Grace Baptist Church in White Salmon. He was recently a member of Calvary Baptist Church in The Dalles. He was a former member of Airstream Trailer Club. He loved to fish.
     Mr. Brown in survived by his wife, Enida Brown of The Dalles; children, Harold L. Brown of Seattle, Dale E. Brown of Longview, and Nadine McCracken of The Dalles; brother Charles Brown of White Salmon; sisters Gladys Marczynski of White Salmon and Frances Patrick of Hood River; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by twin brother Lloyd in 1982 and brother Robert at age 15.
     Funeral services were Monday Sept. 17, at Gardner Funeral Home, with Rev. Robert Long officiating. Committal followed at Trout Lake Cemetery, Trout Lake.

     Floyd E. Brown, 89, a resident of The Dalles and a former resident of Trout Lake and White Salmon, died on Sept. 15 in The Dalles.
     He was born Sept. 13, 1901 in Bickleton, Wash. to  Robert E. Lee and Mary E. (Moore) Brown.
     As an infant he moved to Trout Lake from Bickleton and lived there until young adulthood. He married Enida Kirkpatrick in Idaho April 23, 1916 and worked for Hunsaker Chevrolet in White Salmon for many years. He owned his own service station for  a few years until his retirement in 1963.
     He moved to The Dalles in 1986 to be near his daughter. He was a long time member of Grace Baptist Church in White Salmon and recently was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in The Dalles. He was a former member of Airstream Trailer Club ad loved to fish.
     Survivors include his wife, Enida, The Dalles; two sons, Harold L. Brown of Seattle, and Dale E. Brown , Longview; a daughter, Nadine McCracken, The Dalles; a brother, Charles Brown, White Salmon; two sisters, Gladys Marczynski, White Salmon and Frances Patrick, Hood River; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. A twin brother, Lloyd, died in 1982, and another brother, Robert, died when he was 15.
     Funeral services were held Monday at 1 p.m. at Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon with the Rev. Robert Long officiating. Burial will be in the Trout Lake Cemetery.
