"Local Happenings"

     Emma Frances Hall, 76, died Thursday at her home three miles west of Lyle. Mrs. Hall had been ill for several months, but the end came peacefully. Mr. and Mrs. Hall had lived at Lyle since 1882, so had a host of friends,old and new. Interment was in the Lyle cemetery Saturday morning at 10:00 o'clock. After a short service by Rev. Youngs, the Grange conducted the burial rites. Mrs. Hall had been a member of Columbia Grange for many years.
