FUNERAL RITES FOR THREE SCHEDULED
Funeral services were scheduled this Saturday for two
Goldendale residents and today (Thursday) for a resident of Klickitat.
Mrs. Eva Riess, born in Austria-Hungary 83 years ago,
was to be buried today from Knosher Funeral Home. Pastor Hugo Larson officiating.
Interment was to be at IOOF Cemetery here.
Services for Frank Uptmor who died Wednesday, were scheduled
for Saturday at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with interment in
Holy Trinity Cemetery. Father Patrick Byron officiating.
An afternoon service (2 p.m.) for Mrs. Isabel M. Stonewall,
who died suddenly Tuesday, was to be held at Knosher Funeral Home, interment
at IOOF Cemetery. Rev. M.B. Ketcham officiating.

FRANK UPTMOR
Frank Uptmor was born in Effingham, Ill., on April 1,
1894, and died at the Klickitat Valley Hospital on April 30, 1969. He was
the son of H.H. and Annie Uptmor and was the sole survivor of a family of
nine children.
At Fort Benton, MT., he met and married Walla Mae Gilstrap
in 1916. She preceded him in death on November 13, 1969.
Frank lived in Goldendale since 1943 and was a member
of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Surviving are two sons, Frank K. Uptmor of Selah and
Chester W. Uptmor of Goldendale, and one granddaughter, the Arlene Uptmor
of Goldendale.
Rosary services were held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May
2, 1969, at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Burial services were also held
at the church on Saturday, May 3, with Father Patrick Byron officiating.
Pallbearers were August Jackel, George McCredy, Frank
Dooley, Adolph Zoret, Leo Garner and Clarence Ensley.
Interment was in the Holy Trinity Cemetery.
