ESHELMAN
Harold Eshelman, 85, of Centerville passed away Sunday,
Oct. 25, 1992, in Portland.
He was born Sept. 1, 1907, in Centerville to Singleton
and Emma Eshelman. He went on to attend schools in Centerville before attending
Ellensburg Normal School.
He married Phoebe Collins on January 25, 1941, in Stevenson.
Eshelman later taught school in Klickitat County and
farmed for many years in Centerville.
He was a member of the Centerville of Church of Christ
and the Centerville Grange. He also enjoyed farming, hunting and playing
pinochle.
He is survived by two sons, Charles of Centerville, and
Robert of Gathersburg, Md.; a foster son, Tom Durant of Centerville; one
brother, Wayne of Goldendale; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His wife preceded him in death in 1986.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Oct. 30 at 2
p.m. in the chapel of Erdman Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the
Centerville Cemetery.
