"Glenwood Women Organize New Club"
Frank Shaw, also an inmate of the hospital at White Salmon for several days last week, passed away Saturday night. Mr. Shaw, who has been in poor health for some time, has failed rapidly in the last few weeks. Services will be held Wednesday in Glenwood. He is survived by his son Edward.

FRANK IRWIN SHAW
Frank Irwin Shaw, of Glenwood, died at the Klickitat
General hospital Saturday at the age of 84 years. Funeral services were held
Wednesday at Glenwood with Rev. Geo. Good in charge. Mr. Shaw had lived in
the old men's home in Bingen but prior to his death had been living at Glenwood
with a son Edward, who survives him. His wife preceded him in death forty
years ago.
He was born in Sag Harbor, Mich., Sept. 18, 1855. Other
survivors are a sister-in-law in Sag Harbor, Mich., a brother-in-law, John
Gerbing, of Glenwood, Wash.; and several nephews and nieces. He was a good
father and kind friend and will be missed by all.
Most of his young manhood was spent on boats running
from New York to London and other points. He came to Camas Prairie in 1885
where he married Anna Gerbing Moreland some years later. One son was born
to them, Edward. His wife passed away in 1897. His stepdaughter, Daisy House
passed away March 1937.
