F.J. CHAMBERLAIN
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Stoller
Roselight Chapel, Washougal, for Fred Joe Chamberlain, 76, longtime resident
of the Washougal area who died Monday in a local hospital.
Chamberlain had lived in the Washougal district for the
past 35 years and was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Grange. He was born Dec.
12, 1885, in Lyle, Wash.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Ef f ie V. Chamberlain,
at home; two daughters, Mrs. Donald Erickson of Orchards and Mrs. James Nielsen
of St. Johns, Utah; three sons, Veryl and Richard in Washougal, and Joseph
Chamberlain, Orchards; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Martin, Palacios, Tex.; and
brother, Robert Chamberlain, White Salmon; and 21 grandchildren.
The Rev. George L. Jefferson will officiate the final
rites.

Funeral services for Fred Joe Chamberlain, 76, brother
of Robert Chamberlain, White Salmon were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 17
in the Stoller Roselight Chapel, Washougal.
The Rev. George Jefferson, former pastor of Bethel
Congregational Church of White Salmon, officiated.
Mr. Chamberlain was born Dec. 12, 1885 at Lyle and died
Monday, March 12 in a Vancouver hospital. He had lived in the Washougal area
for 35 years.
Survivors include his widow Effie; two daughters; three
sons, Veryl and Richard, Washougal, and Joseph, Orchards; sisters, Mrs. Minnie
Martin, Palacios, Texas; brother Robert of White Salmon and 21 grandchildren.
