FORREST L. BAUGHER
Forrest "Roy" Baugher, a 91-year-old resident of BZ Corners,
died March 4 in Skyline Hospital. Services are today (Thursday) at 2 p.m.
at Gardner Funeral Home, the Rev. Jean Marie Wood officiating.
Mr. Baugher was born Jan. 2, 1893 an El Reno, Okla.,
to Mr. and Mrs. Harvey N. Baugher (Lucinda Glines) and married Grace Morris
in March 1922. He had moved west to Mabel Valley just before the turn of
the century, then to Granger, Wash., in 1906 where he homesteaded until 1941.
The family then moved to the White Salmon area, where Mr. Baugher farmed
and worked in the logging industry. He was a veteran of World War 1.
Mr. Baugher is survived by his wife, Grace, BZ Corners;
and several children: Delia Robbins, Husum; Velma Martin, Cook; Merle Baugher,
BZ Corners; Ruth Watkins, Seattle, and Eugene Baugher, Willard; six
grand-children, seven great-grandchildren and one great, great-grand child.
Interment will be in White Salmon Cemetery, with arrangements
by the Gardner Funeral Home, Inc..
