FLORENCE MILLER
Florence Miller, 94, of Goldendale, died Feb. 14, 1999.
She was born Jan. 9, 1905, the youngest of seven children,
in Meridian, Idaho to Charles and Elizabeth Scott. Florence attended college
at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Ore. and came to Centerville as a
school teacher in 1931. She and Henry Miller were married June 9, 1933 in
Lebanon, Ore..
Florence stop teaching to raise her family, and after
doing so, returned to teaching elementary classes at Centerville. She retired
in the mid 1970's.
Florence attended the Centerville Church of Christ and
belonged to the Centerville Grange.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry and once
grandson, John.
Survivors include two sons, Jim his wife, Donna Miller
of Centerville, and John and wife Mary Ann of Goldendale; 11 grandchildren;
and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 18, at 1
p.m. in the Chapel of Erdman Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Akins officiating.
Interment will be in the family plot of the Centerville Cemetery.
