FRANK LYLE
Frank Lyle, who was born April 29, 1886 at Lyle, died
at the Hood River Care Center on May 21.
He was married to Neva Ruth Pendleton on Feb. 23, 1907
in The Dalles, Or. They moved to Glenwood permanently in 1910 where he worked
as a cattleman and a farmer.
He was a member of the Glenwood Grange #94, Camas Prairie
Pioneer Assoc., and Glenwood Rodeo Assoc.
Surviving family includes: his wife, Neva Ruth,
of Glenwood; 3 daughters, Neola Hansen of Glenwood, May Kuhnhausen of Camas,
Wa. and Frances Schilling of Glenwood; 4 sisters, Ruby Richardson of Colfax,
Wa., Edna Huffman of Spokane, Wa., Zelma Fullerton of Roseburg, Or. and Margaret
Arnold of Winston, Or.; 6 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Pioneer Community Church
of Glenwood on Tuesday, May 25, at 2 p.m. Rev. John Davies of the Pioneer
Community Church of Glenwood officiated and interment was at Mt. Adams Cemetery
in Glenwood.
