LOCAL WOMAN TAKES LIFE IN CABIN
Discovered By Neighbor Who Had Called With Christmas Gift

Mrs. Florence Yuninger, who had been a resident at the Gateway Cabins for the past two years, was found hanging to the shower curtain rod in her cabin last Friday morning by her next door neighbor, Myrtle Van Alstine. Mrs. Yuninger had been in poor health for some time and was living alone at the time of her death. Her husband, who has been gone for a month or so, has not been located yet.
Evidence led to the conclusion that she made two attempts at taking her life before being successful, the first time an improvised rope from torn bed clothing breaking under her weight.
Notes were left telling of the addresses of relatives and requesting that she be buried in certain clothing. Also telling what she wished done with her grand piano and other belongings.
Discovery of the body was made when Mrs. Van Alstine called to deliver a Christmas package.
Mrs. Yuninger was born at Stites, Idaho, November 29, 1911.
Funeral services were held yesterday at 2 P.M. at the Gardner Funeral home, with burial at the Odd-Fellows Cemetery. Rev. George L. Jefferson was in charge.
