The sad death of Frank Coolidge, known mostly as Dad Coolidge, occurred Saturday afternoon in a car accident, as he was on his way to White Salmon, being found by the roadside dead a few miles this side of his destination. He was taken to the undertakers parlor at Hood River. He was brought home about noon Monday. The funeral services were held in the church at 1:30 P.M. being conducted by Rev. Good, from Trout Lake. The remains were laid to rest in the Mt. Adams Grange cemetery. Mr. Coolidge leaves a wife and children, and many relatives and friends and neighbors to mourn his loss and sudden death which was a sudden shock to all. He will be greatly missed in this community. The relatives have the sympathy from all in their sadness.

Frank O. Coolidge's Body Found Near White Salmon
Frank O. Coolidge, of Glenwood, was found dead under
his overturned automobile west of this place. A passerby reported the situation
to the authorities.
Mr. Coolidge had been engaged in trucking logs. He was
driving a roadster. The road is in good shape and there was nothing to indicate
the cause of the wreck. Mr. Coolidge is survived by his widow, three sons
and a daughter.

The funeral of Frank Coolidge was held Sept. 3rd, at 1:30 P.M. at the church, conducted by Rev. George Good of Trout Lake. He was laid to rest in the Mt. Adams cemetery. Mr. Coolidge was on his way to White Salmon Saturday afternoon and was found 3 miles from White Salmon where his car had run off the grade and he was found dead. We will never know the cause of the accident as no one saw it. Mr. Coolidge was a logging contractor and has lived here about ten years where he has many friends and acquaintances. He leaves a large family of grown children and a grief stricken wife to mourn his loss, and hosts of friends who are shocked at so sudden a death. The entire community extends to the family their heartfelt sympathy in this sad hour.
