FRANCIS DUNN
Francis Patrick "Frank" Dunn, a longtime Klickitat County
resident, died March 9, 1998, at Skyline Hospital in White Salmon, at the
age of 92.
Mr. Dunn was born Aug. 13, 1905, in Catskill, N.Y., to
Ignatz and Sadie (Urban) Chimoemski. Mr. Dunn moved to Klickitat County in
1943 and settled in the Mountain Brook area. There, he formed a ranch and
logged and farmed 155 acres. His wife, Carol L. Dunn, preceded him in death
on Oct.18, 1985.
Mr. Dunn was a member of AARP and enjoyed gardening.
He is survived by his closest friend Elsie Wake, White
Salmon; nephews Frederick Winkowski, New York, N.Y., and Richard and James
Winkowski, both of Florida; and brother-in-law Felix Winkowski, Florida.
Graveside services for Mr. Dunn were held March 14, 1998,
at 11 a.m. at the White Salmon Cemetery, with Pastor Rick Rux officiating.
Memorials may be given to the Stevenson Church of the
Nazarene.
Arrangements were handled by Gardner Funeral Home, White
Salmon.
