Services Held -- Final rites for Frank Ritzschke, 86, who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ilene Spencer, here Friday, were conducted yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Phillips Funeral home, Goldendale. The body was taken to Goldendale from here by C. R. Callaway & Son. Among of the survivors of Mr. Ritzschke, a resident of The Dalles for three years, is a daughter, Mrs. Minnie Strahl, of this city, whose name was omitted in Saturday's Chronicle.

Death Reported -- Frank Ritzschke, 86, who came to the United States 74 years ago from his birth place in Germany, died here yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ilene Spencer, where he had resided for the last three years. A long-time resident of Centerville, Wash., Mr. Ritzschke is survived by three sons, Lou of Chehalis, and Will and Bud of Centerville; three daughters, Mrs. Esther Jaekel of Centerville, Mrs. Ella Clarence of Goldendale and Mrs. Spencer of The Dalles, and several grandchildren. The body was taken by C.R. Callaway & Son to Goldendale where funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Phillips Funeral home.

FRANK RITZSCHKE, COUNTY PIONEER IS BURIED SUNDAY
Funeral services for Frank Ritzschke, 86, president of
the Centerville community for 59 years, were held here Sunday from the Phillips
chapel. Mr. Ritzschke died June 13 in The Dalles where for the past three
years he had resided with his daughter, Mrs. Ilene Spencer.
Mr. Ritzschke was born in Saxon, Germany, April 27, 1855
and came to the United States at the age of 12. He resided in Wisconsin for
several years before coming to Klickitat in 1882. He settled in the Centerville
community where he was a pioneer farmer.
He was married to Minnie Andree, October 3, 1883, and
the couple lived at their farm home southwest of Centerville until her death
three years ago.
He is survived by seven children, William Ritzschke,
Mrs. James Jaekel, Bud Ritzschke, and Mrs. Wesley Clarence, all of Centerville;
Minnie Strahl and Ilene Spencer, of The Dalles; and Lou Ritzschke, of Chehalis.
10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive.
Services at the Phillips chapel were conducted by Mrs.
Opal Wiidanen, pastor of the Centerville Church of Christ. Interment was
in the Centerville Grange cemetery.
