WILLIAM SCHWEIGHOEFER

     William Schweighoefer, rancher of the Laurel district, 30 miles north of White Salmon, died March 23rd. Funeral services were held Sunday at Glenwood. He was born in Germany December 26, 1862 and is survived by his widow, Clara, and a son, Erwin, both of Laurel.

"Glenwood"

     The funeral services of Mr. Sweighoffer were held saturday afternoon at the church. Services were conducted by Rev. Good, and the Gardner Undertakers had charge. He was laid to rest in the Mt. Adams Cemetery. He was 70 years of age and had not been well for about a year and died at his home west of Laurel, March 23, 1933. Mr. Sweighoffer came to this valley about 40 years ago and was well and honorable known, being a kind neighbor and a living example of a true Christian. He was born in Persia and was a missionary in Korea for 3 years. He leaves his wife and two sons, besides many friends to mourn his departure.

"Community Activities In Trout Lake Section"

     Mr. Fredrick William Schweighoefer died March 24, 1933. He was born in East Prussia, Germany, December 26, 1862 and came to this country in 1895. He married Clara Thiele, in Stevenson, Wn., in 1906. He came to Laurel in 1897. Mr. Schweighoefer died at the age of 70 years, 2 months and 20 days. Mr. Schweighoefer is survived by his wife and two sons.

     William Schweighoefer, resident of the Laurel district, died at his home March 23rd. The funeral service was held at Glenwood on Sunday. He was born in Germany, Dec. 26, 1862, and is survived by his widow, Clara, and a son, Erwin, both of Laurel.
