FLOYD W. COOPER
Floyd Walter Cooper was born at Ellensburg, Wa. April
23, 1901, the son of Guy L. and Martha Cooper.
He was raised on the family ranch near Goldendale, moving
in 1942 to Lyle where he was employed in lumber mills until his retirement.
He was a veteran of World War II, during which he served in Africa. He passed
away in White Salmon April 21, 1972. He is survived by three brothers and
three sisters: Lawrence Cooper, Washougal; Ora Cooper, Klickitat; Delwyn
Cooper, Goldendale; Mrs. Hazel Espinosa, Portland; Mrs. Leila Heriford, Medford,
Or. and Mrs. Myrtle Grell of Albany, Or.; Also many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted April 25 at the Spring
Creek Cemetery with Rev.W.N. Byars officiating.
Pallbearers were Walter Greenfield, Edward Knopp, Charles
Johnson, Lloyd Kyle, Roger Erickson and Max Largent.
