FLOYD MAKHOLM

     Floyd W. Makholm, a Lyle resident for the past 37 years, died Saturday in Portland at the Park Royal Convalescent Center at the age of 73.
     Mr. Makholm was born May 15, 1910, in Gillett, Wis., to Mr. and Mrs. Carl Makholm. He was a retired timber faller for several local companies.
     He is survived by his friends, the Vernon Cochenour family, Lyle, the Ed Anderson family, Wahkiacus, the Leonard Menke family, San Antonia, Tex., Al Bush, Portland, the John Nichols family, White Salmon, the Kermit Brown family and the Fred Fazer family, both of Underwood, and Laura Shum, Bingen.
     Graveside services for Mr. Makholm were held Monday at 2 p.m. at Balch Cemetery in Lyle, with friends giving their remembrances.
