WIIDANEN
Francis William Wiidanen, born at Centerville October
18, 1914 to William and Ida Wiiadanen, passed away May 14 at his Centerville
home, having lived his entire life as a farmer on the family homestead near
the community.
He was confirmed and baptized in the Apostolic Lutheran
Church in Centerville.
Preceded in death by five brothers, Loris, Burton, Albine,
Frank and Wesley, and by two sisters, Edna Simi and May Lucille, who died
in infancy, Mr. Wiidanen is survived by one brother, Merle Wiidanen, of
Centerville; by a nephews, William Simi of Goldendale; by a niece, Vernice
Dove of Centerville; and by many cousins, greatnieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 17, at Knosher-Erdman
Funeral Home, Mr. Eldon Wiidanen officiating. Lorraine Schlegel was vocalist
and Loleta Zumwalt organist. Honorary pallbearers were Otis Mattson, Ivan
Mattson, Otis Anderson and Harold Isaacson.
Active pallbearers were Ray Mattson, Ed Berry, Alvin
Randall, Virgil (Pete) Anderson, Bill Olson and Arnold Hoikka. Interment
was in the Centerville Cemetery.
